Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 July 2026

Welcome to Sustainability Studies (sustainabilitystudies.org), operated by Daiane Piva, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. By using the site or creating a dashboard account you agree to these terms.

What the service is

A curated directory of sustainability degree programmes, plus an optional free personal dashboard for tracking your own applications, deadlines, scholarships, documents, contacts and letters.

The directory is a starting point, not the official source

Programme information — tuition, deadlines, requirements, curricula — is researched with care but changes constantly and can differ by nationality and intake. Always confirm details on the university's official pages before making decisions. We accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of directory information, and we are not affiliated with the universities listed.

Your account

The letter-drafting assistant

The assistant helps you draft letters from answers you provide. Drafts are suggestions: you are responsible for reviewing, editing and deciding what you submit to a university or scholarship body. Using the assistant does not guarantee admission or any outcome.

Consultancy sessions

Paid sessions are scheduled via Calendly and paid via PayPal; a booking is confirmed once payment is received. Sessions are advice based on professional experience, not legal, financial or immigration advice, and outcomes are not guaranteed. If we need to cancel, you get a full refund or a new slot — your choice.

Availability

The directory and dashboard are provided free of charge, "as is". We work to keep everything running and your data safe, but we can't promise uninterrupted availability, and features may evolve. If the dashboard were ever to shut down, we would give you reasonable notice to export your data.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the free services is limited to €100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam.

Changes

If these terms change materially we'll update this page and the date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
