Europe's answer to the CFA ESG certificate, and the harder exam of the two: 150 minutes combining multiple choice with a full practical case study on integrating ESG data into valuation, set by the federation of Europe's financial analyst societies. The 4.1 curriculum bakes in the ESRS, asset-class-specific integration and climate risk. Roughly 150 study hours; widely recognised in continental European asset management, where it is often listed alongside or instead of the CFA equivalent.
EUR 1,250 online course (mandatory, 6-month platform access) + EUR 250 exam = EUR 1,500 + VAT via the EFFAS Academy; some physical exam venues add EUR 100 invigilation; resit EUR 250 + VAT; national member societies price locally (~EUR 1,350-1,850). Exams quarterly (March, June, September, December).
